I was commissioned by the Canadian business magazine Profit to illustrate two articles for the March edition. The illustration above was to accompany an article about how companies are able to crowd source their own market research via social media platforms. A mountain bike company featured in the article is seen here looking out over conservations that they are able to access and utilise via social media.
The illustration below is for a piece about rewarding sales staff with bonuses which are dependent on their achievements.
I was recently asked by The Skinny to create an e-book illustration for their Book section in the February edition of the mag.
I was really chuffed to be asked by the The Times to illustrate the front cover of their Student Law supplement that was published today. It was particularly nice to be commissioned by Jon Hill for a second time after the image I did for the Law section back in June of last year. The article the image was for focused on issues around the government funding of law student’s being cut and how they’ll struggle to support themselves while at university. I’m really happy with how the image turned out on paper, especially since it’s one of the largest illustrations I’ve done.
I was recently commissioned by The Quarterly to illustrate a map of Italy showing the resorts featured in their travel article. My colour pallet focused around the Italian flag and my inspiration for the typography was taken from Italian calligraphy.
